The Comment System
Capy.com uses the Disqus.com comment system. Disqus.com asks for one's email address ( depending on the login method: Facebook, Google, email ) in order to post comments. This data is automatically collected by Disqus.com (email, IP, username on Disqus.com) and is viewable by our moderators. All comments including weblinks are subject to human moderation and the system has bad words filtering enabled.
How We Use the Information
User Profile information including members avatars and usernames are displayed to people in order to facilitate user interaction in the Capy.com social networking community. Email addresses are used for the purposes of inviting new friends to join Capy.com, to add users to members' friends' networks, and to send notifications related to the service. Users’ full names are never displayed to other members. To facilitate searching and finding friends and acquaintances on the service, Capy.com allows users to search for other members using gender, age and proximity.
We use visitors Personal Information for our internal purposes of enabling visitors to enter one of our online contests or sweepstakes, to subscribe to our online newsletter, or to inform visitors of upcoming events and special announcements. Each e-mail contains instructions on how to be removed from the subscription list.
